Our camp will continue until government accepts all our demands: Baba Ramdev

Resolute on his satyagraha at Ramlila Ground from Saturday,Baba Ramdev on Friday said that the Union government has accepted some of his demands. He however said that satyagrahawould continue until all his demands were
not met.

Showing a soft stand on government minutes after his latest talks with its representatives failed, the yoga guru praised one of the ministers -- Kapil Sibal -- engaged in the marathon meeting with him.

"We will not revolt against any political party but we will peacefully observe a hunger strike until all our demands are met. I am repeating this that we have not come here to criticise anybody or defeat anybody, but for the well-being of 100 crore people of India," Ramdev said addressing a huge crowd at Ramlila Ground on the eve of the beginning of his satyagraha.

"We have come here to kill Ravana present in the form of corruption. We are not here for the fight of property but for a crusade. We will not allow this movement to turn violent, but if the government tries to derail it we will not tolerate it," he said.

"Baba's camp will now continue here until the government accepts our demands, until the government makes arrangement to bring back lakhs of crores of rupees stashed in banks overseas," Ramdev said appealing people not to heed to rumours that "Baba was scared, or influenced by money power".

Talking about the outcome of his latest meeting with the ministers, the yoga guru said, the government has agreed on one of the three key points raised by him. He said the government was ready to introduce Hindi and regional languages of the country as the medium of education and entrance test for premier engineering, medical and other institutions.

"A committee will be formed within three months. We thank the government for this," Ramdev said.

On the matter of corruption, he said, government agreed to constitute fast track courts to ensure judgement within a year against the corrupt people. While he has been demanding realisation of black money from the culprit and award of life imprisonment or death sentence to him, the government ruled out the possibility of capital punishment agreeing on other points. However the government refused to give any timeframe for it, he added.

Ramdev said to improve the public delivery system the government has agreed to introduce Public Service Guaranty Bill in the Lok Sabha within a year.
